Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood episode 60 (2010) - The actual attempt to tear down a celestial body is, generally speaking, a villainous deed. 

Gravity (2013) - The Shenzou re-entry sequence to simulate the shot style of meteors heading towards the surface.

Star Trek (2009) - Used the Vulcan space shit as reference for planet-sized destruction. 

It's A Wonderful Life (1946) - This re-enforces the idea of grabbing or "pulling down the moon" or any celestial object as a long desired fantasy (even if it's just tongue-and-cheek).
